Autopilot Pump 12 VDC 1.7 Cubic Inches Per Second (For Ram Sizes of 14 Cubic Inches to 25 Cubic Inches in Volume)

The PUMPHRP17-12 is a reversing pumpset designed to interface the NavPilot series autopilot with a hydraulic steering system. The pump assembly incorporates a reversible gerotor gear pump a two-piece gear housed in an eccentric ring. This allows for incredibly quiet reliable and precise operation.

A hydraulic steering system consists of a hydraulic actuator and one or more steering wheel pumps or helm pumps. As the steering wheel (helm pump) is turned in the port direction hydraulic oil is pumped into the port hydraulic steering line. This oil is directed into the port side of the steering cylinder. As the cylinder moves to port oil from the starboard side of the cylinder returns to the helm pump through the starboard hydraulic lines.

One end of the cylinder is fixed and the other is connected to a tiller arm which is connected to a rudder shaft. With this connection to the tiller arm the linear movement of the cylinder to port is changed to rotary movement which turns the rudder and steers the vessel to port. Moving the steering wheel to starboard produces the same reaction with oil being pumped out of the starboard line and returning through the port line.

If more than one helm pump is used a return/fill line must be installed to connect the cases of all helm pumps together.

The output flow rate of the pumpset determines the speed of the steering cylinder. The PUMPHRP17-12 outputs 1.6 cu. in. of oil per second and requires a 12VDC input.

NavLink 2 NMEA to WiFi GatewayDigital Yacht's NMEA to WiFi adapter.NavLink:NavLink is a low cost app designed for use with an iPhone or iPad. It transforms your iPad into a full function chart plotter with detailed electronic charts and an overlay of your boats position track and heading. Its purchased through the Apple app store and includes detailed Admiralty UKHO charts covering the whole of the UK & Eire. Additional USA (S57 NOAA) French Benelux German and Danish charts can be added via an In-App Purchase. The NOAA S57 charts cover the whole of the US.Charts can be presented north up or course up and routes and waypoints are created and edited using a simple touch screen interface. Real time navigation shows your current position track course speed ETA VMG bearing and distance to next waypoint. Theres a simple A-B chart ruler too and you can tap on an object such as a buoy or nav-aid and get a pop up data window of its characteristics. Current weather data and local conditions can be downloaded from weather buoys (internet connection required) which is great for last minute local weather before setting off on a voyage. The S57 Admiralty UKHO charts are vector based so data can be layered and enabled / disabled by the user allowing charts to be de-cluttered as appropriate. Its also designed to work seamlessly with Digital Yachts NMEA to WiFi devices so will integrate with your boats GPS and AIS systems. If AIS data is available youll see AIS targets overlaid with all their identity information and a heading line as well as alarms for CPA and TCPA.Utilizing your on board GPS with these wireless servers means you dont need a GPS enabled iPad. Even if your device is GPS enabled it significantly reduces battery drain when using an external source. It also means your iPad/Phone can be used below deck and generally the boats GPS is superior for marine based navigation.NavLink also helps with your watch keeping and lookouts. In HorizonView mode you can use the camera on the iPhone/iPad to scan the horizon. Youll get an overlay on the camera screen of nav-aids AIS targets and waypoints which serves as a great visualization aid.

WLN10 Smart NMEA to WiFi Converter - 4800 BaudDigital Yachts WLN10 Smart NMEA to WiFi gateway takes iPad and tablet integration afloat even further with the ability to connect to existing on board GPS AIS and instrument systems and transfer data wirelessly to an iPad or tablet allowing compatible apps to display and compute with real time information. The WLN10 creates a secure password protected wifi network on board to footprint the boat with data. When connected to for example anAIS system real time AIS target positions and identity data will be displayed on detailed electronic charting through compatible apps includingNavLink TimeZeroiAIS iSailor Seapilot and hundreds more. The tablet becomes a full function navigation display. This version of the WLN10 can now be programmed through its simple browser interface for NMEA 0183 data at 4800 or 38400 baud and for initial programming: Just logon to the IP address and you can set baud rate SSID and password. No complicated programming! Through the web interface you can also view NMEA data received for easy fault finding of issues. The WLN10 Smart supports both UDP (for multiple connections) and TCP/IP interfaces for maximum compatibility with apps so you can be using a PC at the chart table with an iPad on deck. Its also bidirectional so apps can control an autopilot if this function is enabled. The Smart WLN10 has one NMEA0183 input which can be configured through the web interface. You can also utilise our SeaTalk to NMEA adaptor to allow SeaTalk instrument data to be interfaced directly to the WLN10 Smart.
