Taking the proven versatility and fish-catching performance of ChatterBait to the next level, the Project Z ChatterBait is Z-Man's top-of-the-line bladed swim jig. This bass-catching fishing lure is the result of several years of research and tinkering by Z-Man Founder and Owner Scott Martin. These jigs were designed to resemble a small Grub. This bass fishing lure has the look, action and sound of crankbaits, large profile of a jig, and irresistable flash of a spinnerbait. The secret to the uncanny bass fishing success is the design of the ChatterBait. The Original ChatterBait started as a patented design in 2006, when Z-Man Founder Scott Martin began modifying the design with his creative vision. This particular design became known as the ChatterBait Pro. With the Project Z, Z-Man has crafted an even more refined design by incorporating super-strong quick clips attached to the blade, and hardened stainless wire forms molded into the head to attach the blade. These bass fishing jigs also come equipped with the Z-Man exclusive enlarged collar which holds the skirt in place and doubles as an extra anchor point for the soft plastic trailer. Lastly, the Project Z ChatterBait features Z-Man's exclusive double umbrella EZ Skirt, which provides a fuller skirt profile while retaining a tighter, hand-tied look that competes with the best hand-tied skirts on the market.
