Designed to hold and drain aqueous samples, these economical half and full-size tumbling sieves are ideal for use with most settling tanks and are supplied with a screen or adsorbing cloth. The plain, nondeforming tumbling surface provides excellent centering and centrifugal forces for abrasive materials. The expanded brass frame minimizes the possibility of damage to a screen mesh due to buckling. The expanded brass frame minimizes the possibility of damage to adsorbent materials due to abrasion or corrosion from static. Sieves are designed to fit over most settling tanks and are supplied with a screen or adsorption cloth. For settling of abrasive materials, the lowest tumbling speed is faster than that of the highest tumbling speed. A center pan retains the charge and allows plug removal without disassembling the vessel.
