The Real Hen is an advanced gobbler call designed for the experienced turkey hunter. This call is easy to use and has great volume capabilities. The wood is Brazilian Cherry and the exterior is a loud, figured acrylic that looks like bone, this gives the call a luxurious, yet, rugged look. The Real Hen can produce a very clear hen voice but also has the volume capabilities to let a mature gobbler sound like she is in pain. You can obtain great tone on this call with a little practice and plenty of air. This call is very easy to use, simply place your fingers on the ridge and press or tap the end of the call towards the sound hole. There is a very shallow V on the end of the call that helps when making brief, soft calls in rapid sequences. Additionally, there is a deep V on the end of the call that will allow you to blow a little air and yodel easily. These wood have exceptional grain and grain, which along with figured Brazilian cherry, give the call a very nice appearance. The base of the call is figured from a single piece of Brazilian Cherry, which is sliced off at an angle to give the call a very unique look. These calls have extra flare at the end of the calls, as well as the end cap. This was done on purpose so that the beauty of the wood is not lost in the finish.
