No. 1 PS Water Repellent Phase Separating Paper is uncoated on one side with a slightly textured surface to provide a slightly greasy support surface. On the other side is a hydrophobic layer which provides excellent resolution of fine precipitates and maximum recovery of light color phases in water-buffered water. Between the two sheets of paper is an aqueous phase and a hydrophobic layer which provides maximum recovery of light color phases. Each sheet is coded according to size to indicate its caliber and color coding on the package indicates what type of paper it is.
