Whatman Grade No. 1 Filter Paper is primarily intended for use with heavier compounds and sediments which require a high degree of retention. Whatman Grade No. 1 Filter Paper is particularly recommended for the pre-concentration and pre-filtration stages of distillation procedures. Whatman Grade No. 1 Filter Paper is widely used in laboratories for the pre-concentration of gases and liquids in pressure, accumulation and weighing stages of distillation procedures. Whatman Grade No. 1 Whatman Filter Paper may also be used in a number of other applications requiring a high degree of precision.
