Originally designed for qualitative procedures in qualitative analysis laboratories, Whatman Grade GF/D Glass Microfiber Polyester Filters have been refined to higher and higher standards and are now used in the pre-treatment of many critical analytical samples. Grading Whatman Microfiber Grade DF/D Glass Filters are the final step in the pre-treatment process, when filtration and subsequent analytical procedures are carried out. Grading Whatman Grade GF/D Glass Microfiber Polyester Filters are color-coded, with codes arranged in double rows of five each. Grading Filters are color-coded and a size indicator on the bottom of the Filter indicate the grade of the material filtered. Whatman Grade GF/D Glass Microfiber Polyester Filters are used for the preliminary pre-treatment of glass microfiber filters for practical examination in most single-channel countersinks, especially those used in qualitative procedures. Whatman Grade GF/D Glass Microfiber Polyester Filters are used for all applications requiring filtration of microfibers prior to their use.
