Outstanding fluorescence lifetime imaging makes this compact handheld FluoroScanTM imager ideal for today's microvolume, high-throughput labs. This VWR VialsTM Photonic Crystal CS25 w/ CD/DVD Label Printer has an integrated USB port, a remote sensor to capture and upload data, and a sled that can be taken anywhere in the laboratory for use with robotic pipetting devices. The VWR Label is an essential tool for documenting results in the field; simply place a fluorescent label on the sample slide and press the scan button within 1 to 2 seconds. An on/off switch can be used to test the viability of the labeling system and a gradual power adjustment knob can be used to reduce the intensity of the laser for cases requiring longer operation. This compact fluoro-laser system has been used to document a wide range of clinical and industrial applications including: pharmaceutical, biotechnology and clinical lab environments; metal and woodworking, electronics and electrical testing; medical, dental, oil and gas, lumber and lumber refining, paper & pulp, converting samples into data once the samples have been analyzed; instrumental analysis, including fluorescence lifetime assessment and certification; and a reusable solid carbon fiber drum for use with the VWR Vibratory Lift (VWR-L).
