For reliable, reproducible test results, you need a reliable sieve. You can trust the results of a lab test performed on a General Testing Sieve - one of the most widely used and trusted sieves in the industry - if not the world. Keeping your testing equipment in tip-top condition is easy with the VWR Stainless Steel Testing Sieve. These 8" diameter (18 mm) test sieves are perfect for most separation tasks - from wet granular analysis to powder comminution. The extra-fine woven stainless steel provides the same outstanding test sieve properties as well as reliable durability. For testing your filtration efficiency, you need a VWR Sieve with a lot of stopping power. Other testing sieves from other manufacturers may have a less uniform distribution of your sample across the screen, or be too fine for your tests. That's why these testing sieves are packaged with a durable, impact-resistant polycarbonate pan. Each testing sieve bears a unique tracking number, which allows you to trace the sieve and its history. This is an important feature since test pans with serrated rims can be used for running multiple tests simultaneously. Also, these pans prevent contamination of your test results since they're easily seen through the mesh.
