Designed for the sterility protection of vials containing sterile powder or liquid, this black adhesive tape is 3 times more puncture resistant than the best selling white tape and is also a good antiseptic tool. Advantages include a low smoke point, which allows the user to handle the vial without contaminating the solution, an added sterilization factor, and a more flexible character than white tape. The main component of this tape is vinyl, which is formulated to provide excellent sterility, make-up, and adhesion to most any surface. Additional features include an adhesive back, which holds well even in the wet and messy environment of the lab, allowing easy removal of the vial without leaving a residue, and a high smoke point which allows gaseous disinfection of the vial without releasing vapors into the air. Also features a "zero tolerance" heat for excellent performance.
