Manufactured in a FDA registered and inspected facility, the stir bar is free from any contaminating materials. It is encapsulated in FDA grade Teflon PTFE, and its smooth, sterile, and chemical-inert coating makes it ideal for use in stirring vessels such as round or square vessels, tubes, and reactor vessels. The stir bar is excellent for use in metal and plastic containers that contain powdery or liquid substances that can form a slurry, such as glassware made with asbestos or steel.
