VWR PTFE Tissue Grinders 11.21 Plain Plungers

The Cowie Company Tissue Grinders feature stainless steel plungers with pure PTFE heads and precision borosilicate glass vessel. To prevent contamination, all surfaces are lubricated and pass through a neoprene bushing to eliminate any sample cross contamination. To ensure a smooth functioning operation, the Cowie PTFE Tube Grinders have a PTFE lined rust-resistant wiper blade. The Cowie Tissue Grinder has an ultra-smooth PTFE plunger ensures the user only removes the tissue and not the surrounding bone, muscle, or fat. The plunger ensures there is minimal force applied to the tissue. For grinding small amounts of tissue, such as when staining, the Cowie PTFE Tissue Grinders have a plain PTFE plunger. This Cowie Grinding Accessory has a standard clearance of 0.150mm between plunger and glass.
