VWR Hydrometer Bat W/SYPHN Set 50860

Made of polystyrene, this hydrometer is resistant to acids, alkalis, and basic cleaning solutions. The polystyrene makes the instrument lightweight and robust, giving accurate repeatable results. All units are shipped with a Syphnometer adaptor complete with a digital manometer, lattice hydrometer, hollow glass stopcock, and goggles. The units can be stacked together to form a reservoir, and they fit snugly into the stopcock sleeve. The stopcock stores in the end nearest the hydrometer, making its location obvious. Then, a plastic tubing is laid over the stopper, and the hydrometer, along with its integrated holder, are stored in a nylon bag to keep clean. The stopcock is moved to the front of the hydrometer, making it easier to read than the meter being used.
