The Vikem Evaporating Dish, PTFE 006.1100.1 has a flat-form design with an angular lower lip that gathers and retains evaporating droplets. Excellent chemical resistance makes this a good choice for use with organic solvents and vapors. The FDA-approved pure PTFE material is expanded during molding to eliminate the possibility of any contaminating debris in the evaporating dish. Chemically inert and resistant to many solvents, including organic solvents, these dishes provide trouble-free performance. The serrated lower lip of the dish allows crystals to collect and remain on the surface of the dish during evaporation. Dish is designed for use with water-bath evaporation.
