VWR Corks 50425

The small, flexible Manton VWR Corks (50425) are designed for use with small scientific and medical tube racks, incubators, or cylinders. The molded, porous surface of a cork absorbs moisture, allowing it to remain liquid-tight for extended periods. In this way, contaminated air or other contamination cannot contaminate the contents. Lightweight, chemical-resistant, and easy to open, the Manton VWR Corks are excellent for use with all small scientific and medical tube racks, and cylinders. Wide ranging applications of mammal and human tissue including bovine and rabbit tissue. Use as a cork for narrow opening cylinders, for example, to keep urine tubes from sloshing out into the atmosphere where sand or gravel may get caught between the cork and the edge of the bottle. The Manton VWR Corks will withstand boiling water for long periods reliably.
