The Samlex America 160A Automatic Charge Isolator ensures your primary battery will be charged every time from your secondary battery. This Battery Tender from Samlex America uses a microprocessor to continually test the batteries being charged by the alternator and will continue to monitor the situation and take the necessary corrective action while the battery is still live. The Samlex America 160A to 12/24V Automatic Charge Isolator comes complete with instructions and a one-page manual and should be installed in most cases, however it is recommended that a qualified electrician install this item to ensure all safety requirements are met. In some cases, the Samlex America 160A Automatic Charge & Isolator can be installed by the electrician into the existing charging circuit of the alternator.
