A white non-porous material which achieves a very high light transmission makes this an ideal material for use in the chemical, food, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Active or inert at room temperature, or even frozen, Qorpak Polystyrene Jars with Caps 3892 prevent light leakage and also prevent spills. The jars are very transparent and allow mixing of media without the fear of contamination. The base is made of a non-absorbent material which allows the media to be fully distributed. The jars stack for easy storage and also feature a hinged dusting cap. Sample preparation is simple; just add the acid free nutrient without a lid to the active ingredient and the correct acid/base reaction will occur. There is less chance of contamination and the color etchings are very deep and easy to read. Once opened, the jars will retain the acid/base reaction showing that the acid/base is undisturbed. Caps have an easy to turn screw on/off feature. Once the cap is on, the jars can be used in the dark from the base or the full capacity can be poured in. The all-in-one jar includes a clean white outer cap and spacers.
