Petzl Freino Z Carabiner Twist-Lock M042AA00
$64.95
Estimated delivery between October 27 and October 29.
The Petzl Freino Z Carabiner is a combination of the STOP (D009AA00) and SIMPLE (D004AA00) caving descenders, with a friction spur to provide additional braking action during descent. This Carabiner from Petzl allows the user to increase or control the braking action of the descent, and facilitates the creation of a tie-off. With the Petzl Freino Z Carabiner, the rope can be quickly redirected over the friction spur and removed with one hand; the lock automatically opens after caving descender has been properly orientated. The Petzl Freino Z Carabiner also features a keylock system, to avoid any involuntary snagging of the carabiner. The carabiner is fitted with an automatic twist lock mechanism that is reversible for the purpose of facilitating multiple operations in the event that the carabiner should twist or lock in use. When used in conjunction with Petzl SIMPLE (D004AA00) and STOP (D009AA00) caving descenders, the caving descender is completely automatic and self-locking.
