Shrinkbands are ideal for applying to small, tight-fitting glassware such as vials, tubes, and test tubes for a variety of laboratory procedures. Apply to the outside of the vial neck, following the directions on the back of the vial, or inside the neck of a polyethylene container such as a Nalgene bottle. Insert the tail of the band into the depression on the underside of the neck, through the hole in the center of the band, to the lab draw or marking spot and attach the band to the vial using the integral tie. The shrinkband also functions to hold small plastic caps and similar sized items in place. Large air-holes in the band allow the tubing or bottles to be pulled through, even when the tubing is fully submerged. A standard PTFE shrinkband is recommended for use with this item. Case of 1000.
