The DiversiFlow® multichannel rack provides an economical and space-efficient way to build up or purge a population of microorganisms. The wide mouth design allows the user to add samples without dilution. Simply place an antibody, serum, or plasma sample in the diluted well, close the hatch, and count the cracks. This also serves to prevent contamination of the sample as the sample is added. It has a bottom drawer for storing solutions or other preparations that require a liquid. This re-spins after each addition, making it easy to serve the entire sample set without disruption. The white high-density polyethylene (HPMC) plastic rack holds eight places. The manual says to place samples in the ordered sequence. There is only one main reason the racks are arranged in this way. Each well has a lid and a handle and it allows the sample to be retrieved easily without spilling.
