The low-profile, NALGENE* Low Profile Closures for Micro Packaging Vials are designed to secure a tight, leakproof fit in a wide variety of packaging formats. The design converts standard, full-length NALGENE* Vials from round to square, single- or double-ended. The unique, low-profile design allows the vials to stand upright in a standard laboratory bench drawer, without the need to remove the vials from the shelving. The hinged sealing lip can be positioned either of two ways: by turning the vial on its side, or by removing the center pin. The vial can then be shaken dry three times to ensure a good, leakproof seal. The smooth, plain finish of the Low-Profile Closures allows a viscose labware brush to easily remove the vial from the vial. The Low-Profile Closures save storage space by displacing large, cumbersome vials. The hinged bottom design allows the vials to stand proudly upright in a laboratory work bowl. Dispensing is easy. Simply apply the vial to the cleaning rod tip. The fabric-reinforced sealing rings ensure the highest possible degree of puncture resistance. Packaged in a PPCO wood box.
