Loose-style pipe plugs provide a leakproof seal when fitted with the matched plug closure. The plugs, which are molded of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) are autoclavable; however, they are not designed for use with double-thick walled reactor vessels or with thick-walled vacuum equipment. Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) offers increased chemical resistance and long-lasting service life. The LDPE material can be easily boiled or frozen, preventing chemical attack and cross-contamination. The expanded spout easily swivels at the base to allow access to plug/clamp assembly from above. Large-sized spout has a knurled lip at the lip to admit a vent, which improves evacuation performance. Large-sized spout has a retaining lip at the lip, which improves spout performance. Used for the assembly of control or sample containers. Cap has a large, knurled lip which allows spout removal when necessary. Knurled lip at both ends allows for easy dispensing. A crimped lip prevents bursting of the sample vessel from internal pressure. Used with matched plugs or collars.
