Made of clear, polypropylene (PPCO), or polyethylene (PCE), these closures provide a good seal with most types of liquids and vapors. The durable screw-type, bayonet-type closures are recommended for use with filtered liquids and gas mixtures. Note: Closures listed apply only when used with NALGENE Micro Packaging Vials, PPCO, or NALGENE Clear PPCO vials. For best fit, place the seal on the vial just before the vial mouth, not on the sealing ring. The sealing ring should not be removed from the vial during cleaning.
