This screw-type assembly is installed and removed without power. The withdrawal pin is set in a stainless steel piston which rides within the housing. The piston is locked by an o-ring and the withdrawal pin is visible. The housing, piston, and rotor are made of tough, temperature- and humidity-resistant polycarbonate. Its rounded base contains an easily accessible watertight O-ring allowing access to the piston even with gloves. The O-ring also allows the piston to be removed for cleaning without taking the bowl off the base. The bowl and lid are easily removed for cleaning-even with gloves on.
