These wide mouth polypropylene closures are suitable for most petroleum companies and refiners because they do not require a vent port. The two locking tabs, one on the cap and one on the body, provide a greater degree of security in the laboratory. The polyethylene terephthalate (PE) closure provides greater sterility assurance than the traditional LDPE closure. The all-glass barrier provides maximum purity with minimal etching. The unique blend of polymers used in the cap and closure provides a unique barrier to dangerous light sources. The polyethylene terephthalate (PP) material will not melt or burn. Packaged with a polypropylene closure. Delivery information: Bags are coded. Bag codes are assigned using the ASTM Uniform Numbering System (ANLN) according to the CAS number.
