For batch operations requiring a large volume of pipette tip adapter, the Nunclon BTL, bulk, DOT-2E, NM, CS500 125 mL is ideally suited for the task. The container is leakproof and autoclavable; it has a large opening for easy blowing and filling, is easy to clean, and saves time by allowing the tip to be placed in water. The dip tube, which is sealed at the top, may be removed to allow for batching operations. The dot-2e neck finish on the bulb and mouth of the bulb makes it difficult to tip. To initiate a pumping sequence, place the dip tube in the water bath with the lid closed and the pump started. Return to the water bath by stirring until the level returns to normal. Allow to soak for a period of one hour before use.
