BOTTLE consists of a non-absorbent paper plug and a spacer. The plug is easily removed by pulling it out of the well. The spacer under the well is filled with a dye to visually confirm that the water has been filtered. The spacer then contains a valve plug preventing the main body of water from contacting the "frost ring" at the top of the well. The open top allows for easy sampling at the source. The stopper on the base of the BOTTLE must not be removed. The bowl and plug must be firmly held in place to prevent leakage. Once the leak is established, the plastic bag and plastic bag withperc box can be disposed of with the remainder of the waste paper. Chemical compatibility: Wont react with acid or caustic soda. Backed by a two year shelf warranty from date of manufacture.
