The PP250 is a double-walled, clear shatterproof bottle with a polypropylene (PP) body that is autoclavable; the neck is drilled and sealed, and it has a polypropylene plastic plug at the mouth. The plug is acid and etch resistant, so the bottle will not etch from handling or use of acidic cleaning solutions. The neck is drilled and sealed, and it is designed with an enlarged, easily extractable filling funnel that attaches directly to the threaded polycarb cap. The screen over the vent provides an increased air space between the glass and plastic surfaces, improving gasket performance. The polypropylene material of the bottle base makes it rotund for autoclaving. Bottle 250 ML is supplied with polypropylene plug.
