Designed to clarify the path for endoluminal solutions through a frosted (double sided) filter, this yellow-colored Motic Instruments Filter blocks unwanted light that can be harmful to the retina and allows for deeper penetration of dyes and marking materials. Colored light (Cold) is transmitted through the filter, while (Ultraviolet; or UV) light (or no light) is transmitted through the filter. The filter absorbs or scatters the light that does get through to the retina, thus protecting users' eyes from UV and scattering light.
