For weighing or counting, the XPert Balance offers high-throughput sample changers with flexible port timing. This single- or double-walled, fume-hood design provides clean air and a draft-free environment. A rugged polycarbonate window shields the balance area from outside influences, while a large, easily-adjustable iris window collects and funnels fresh air in through the main chamber. The XPert Balance has a large rear access door for materials and parts retrieval and provides a large rear window for visualizing large volumes of liquids. The fume hood has an easy-adjust servo-ramp. The front access door opens for adding and removing samples, and two rear windows let in vented air to reduce moisture in the work chamber. The see-thru, through-viewing space in the center of the workstation allows flexibility of orientation. A large top window provides a clear view of the work being done, and the see-thru bottom provides a view of the work in progress. The front window includes anti-scuffs. The seamless side wall has water traps to minimize seepage of contaminants such as ambient water, paint, or humidity. The top of the workstation also includes provision for docking bayonet fittings for two articulated arm restrainers, a lever for holding odd-numbered bottles, a provision for a water source, and a wire-lock for the door handle to stay securely attached to the top. The XPert Balance has a certificate from an independent lab to confirm compliance with regulations and guidelines. Other features of this balance include a leveling bar, watertight viewing window, USB port, and USB output port.
