Vacuum Pump 195L/MIN 115V Vacuum Pumps draw air from the space between the piston rings forming a seal. The vacuum pump can be used to evacuate partial pressure vessels to 1torr or higher. Double stiction control assures that the pump will not back-flow. Smooth, friction-free running on all pump components permits manipulations without touching the valves or piston rod. Friction adjustment mechanism provides infinitely variable speed control. The pump is ideal for smaller volume applications including gelatin filtration and desalting. Because the pump is operated by removing the safety pin before engaging the pump, there is no need to cut the tubing or change the port. The pump has a red LED display, vacuum pump red light, filter wheel, removable safety pin, and a red filter housing. There are clear visibility and performance indicators on the display and indicating knobs. The vacuum pump is ideal for smaller volume applications including gelatin filtration and chromatography on a rotary vat.
