Designed to retain needles in place by friction alone, this high performance retaining ring is a critical part of critical automated procedures requiring a consistent vacuum source. Manufactured with an extremely tight fiber-to-fiber bond, this ring will not release from the needle tip due to friction. To retain a needle, it is not necessary to securly bond it to a retaining ring. The retention ring can be positioned anywhere within the needle path, ensuring a constant vacuum as long as the needle remains within the ring. Pull the needle straight through the retainer ring until it is released by the gentle tapping on the retaining ring.
