Labconco Manual Duct Dampers Labconco 4726400
Estimated delivery between October 29 and October 31.
Continuous operation manual dampers do not require power and self-lubricating nylon bladders. Dampers can be installed and removed without removing hands or tools and dampers are not intended for continuous in-line use. For this reason, they are supplied with removable inserts filled with compressed air. For easy removal, the inserted material must not be blocked either by a dam or by a lab glove. A permanent air-tightness is normally achieved after a short run of duct work with no dam in place. This ensures that the fluids in the duct can be quickly identified and the blocked duct prevented from ever forming a draught, which would allow contamination of the product in the laboratory.
