Reusable flow hoods combine the efficiency of a cell bath with the HEPA filtration technology. The wash cell is placed inside the hood and filtered to remove cells and other non-hazardous airborne particles. The hood is easily assembled and disassembled for cleaning. It filters air through a honeycomb filter which is formed by a honeycomb cell on one side of the inner wall. The filter cassettes are assembled from recycled cartridges ensuring that the hoods are as energy efficient as possible. To recycle air through the HEPA filtration system, the cartridges are placed inside the hood with an odorless diaphragm and sealed off from the air by an airtight seal. The hood is then placed in a cold box filled with desiccant to remove any humidity. The diaphragm holds the filter elements in place. When the diaphragm is removed, the inner wall of the hood is cooled to prevent any moisture from accumulating inside the hood.
