TheergonTM AP single-use hood combines the function of a standard hood with the safety and efficiency of an exhaust flow hood. The fully enclosed, gasketed and waterproof hood has an extra-thick clear polycarbonate front, making it impervious to cell growth. The hood is particularly useful for studying cell attachment and cell attachment at the same time. The Ergon fume hood consists of a molded front and a polyethylene end cap with an extra-thick clear top. The front of the filter spout is a special "Y" shaped retainer that firmly locks the filter in place. To release the filter, push the neoprene tab several times. The filter will pop out of the top when the button is pressed. The top cover opens automatically when the clamp is released. When the clamp is moved out of the way, simply press the front of the filter straight down until the spring is released.
