Labconco Exhaust Duct FLEX.10' 2DIAM. 6802900
Estimated delivery between October 29 and October 31.
Part of a system ductwork should be carefully designed according to the local codes and ordinances to ensure that the flow of air or gas does not exceed the local, state, or federal mandated ventilation rate. The general design of many lab fume hoods and air ducts can cause backdrafts and increased humidity that must be expelled somehow. To prevent this, many manufacturers design their exhaust ducts with flex extensions, and place the flex extensions over the top of the actual hood or duct section to be exhausted, usually at the bottom, through the gills. Be sure that the local codes and ordinances for the area you are planning to install the ducting to ensure that the local codes are followed. This duct should not be used in any commercial application until the local authority issues a building permit, and only then should the duct be installed.
