The Herold Solingen Full Creep Strop is used for cutting open a package of shaver bristles or for touching up a shear. A razor strop must be used as little as possible, as the shear bristles need the friction to form a slurry lubricant. Therefore the Herold 15-inch Razor Strop is a good choice for these purposes. The Herold 15-inch Full Creep Strop has a sprue of stout nickel-plated reeds, the joints are solid brass, and the strop itself is made from tempered copper. A roughened up crevice of the strop handle gives extra strength. When not in use, the strop can be easily removed from the knife. An orange color dot near the full strop tip assures easy orientation. Cleaning is not a problem, the strop is easily handed to a colleague. The Herold 15" Razor Strop is, however, also excellent for using with the Rastolux Cloth as an additional cleaning tool. For any of the finest kitchen or table knives, the Herold Solingen Razor Strop is an essential tool for the knife owner.
