BRAND 759240 Caps For Ultra-Micro Cuvettes Blue - Provide a secure, leak-proof seal around each cuvette. The small size and matched caps ensure that cuvettes can be frozen during use. The chemiluminescent inks are easily viewed under UV light. The inks contain a proprietary fluorescent ingredient that stains certain dyes blue or pink. The Fluorescent inks work in all solvent types and can be used in colorimetric as well as spectrophotometric procedures. The inks are optically pure and will not impart a color change to test samples. The color of the ink used in the inks should not be visible through the bottom of the cuvette. When inking a sample, the ink color should not be visible, but rather, should be solid like that of the cuvette. The color change is a function of heat; solids and color shift will increase or decrease depending on the temperature of the sample.
