The F-1476-21 Series top closures have an o-ring groove to allow withdrawal of liquids from standard curves without funneling or rinsing. A plastic ring is placed between the top and bottom surfaces of the top closure to prevent a liquid from forming in the opening. The adjusting screw on the base of each closure has been eliminated, but may be affixed with an adjusting pin in order to completely seal the opening. To open or close the O-rings, simply turn the outside diameter of the top closure slightly and apply light pressure. O-rings are not included. For manufacturing and type checking, testing, or inspection, order O-rings separately.
