The Frontier Series II RED Line Filter keeps you safe from waterborne illness in any circumstance. Use this filter with a Frontier Flow bottle to easily refill from any water source and carry up to 22 oz. Series II design delivers a perfect connection to any Series II filter bottle and includes barbed fittings on the casing to use inline with any 1/4in hydration tube should the need arise.
This Frontier Series II RED Line Filter and is certified to EPA and NSF/ANSI standards for the removal of virus, bacteria, Cryptosporidium, Giardia, chlorine, chemicals, taste and odor.
Technical Information: "The Series II RED Line filter incorporates the same patented design and manufacturing method as the Series IV filter, in a convenient sealed capsule. The multi-media filtration system incorporates the power of electro-positive charge differential to pull particles as small as viruses out of water while still maintaining excellent flow. The Aquamira Series II filters are designed to be used in Aquamira Frontier Flow filtered water bottles and can also be spliced in-line in any hydration system. It does all this without the need for cumbersome back-flushing or disinfecting chemicals such as chlorine, bromine, or iodine. The patented design also reduces harmful chemicals, bad tastes, and odors to ANSI/NSF 42 requirements and has been tested and proven effective in reducing Cyanotoxins such as Microcystin produced by algae blooms in the Great Lakes, something no hollow fiber filter can do. Aquamria RED Line filters assure maximum protection in high risk applications, while providing high flows and long service life in the most compact, lightweight, interchangeable and replaceable capsule available today.
