Konus Telescope Erecting Prism 1.5x 1042
Estimated delivery between October 29 and October 31.
Konus Telescope Erecting Prism 1.5x 1042 corrects astronomical images for right side up viewing. The Konus Erecting Prism 1.5x 1042 features sophisticated optics and perfect optical alignment. A very difficult challenge in making erect images in a telescope is to keep the image in the upright position. In this case, it is not possible to achieve a perfect image without a corrective lens. However, a corrective lens can make an image appear upside down which is why most erecting prisms include an additional field of view. For this reason, it is highly desirable to have a corrective lens installed when capturing images of the night sky, so the objects appearing upside down will be correct. In addition, a good image means no distortion in the image. This Konus Erecting Prism 1.5x 1042 corrects left to right images to appear right side up which is highly desirable in order to preserve the sharpness of the image.
