Product Description
The ANGE L carabiner represents the best of both traditional solid and classic wire gate carabiners. Petzl's MonoFil technology and the H-shaped cross-section make it lightweight (34 grams) and offer an optimal strength-to-weight ratio. The shape of the nose and the Keylock system help prevent the carabiner from snagging when clipping and unclipping. It's the ideal design for multi-pitch climbers looking to reduce weight while keeping the functionality of a standard size carabiner.

Features of Petzl Ange L Carabiner
- Very lightweight, standard size carabiner:- Weighing 34 g, it helps lighten the load when mountaineering or climbing alpine rock or ice- Carabiner size and strength-to-weight ratio are optimized due to the H-shaped cross-section
- Easy to clip and unclip:- MonoFil gate opens and closes smoothly and offers a much longer lifetime compared to traditional wire gate carabiners; the wire gate is inset within the frame, reducing the chance of it rubbing against the rock- Keylock system is designed to avoid snagging on a gear loop, piton, rope, or webbing- Nose of the carabiner has a hole that allows ice, snow, or dirt to be cleared out- Flat carabiner spine provides stability when holding it in your hand or pinch clipping- Wide contact surface with the rope and bolt hanger for better rope glide and reduced wear on the carabiner
