The Micro Motion Device (MMD) from Col Mountain Tech is a precision pan-tilt tripod head designed for hunters, shooters, and outdoor filmmakers who demand smooth, controlled movement while glassing or tracking. The patented design is the most versatile optics mount you can buy compatible with any standard tripod and engineered for the kind of micro-adjustments that make the difference between spotting game and losing sight of it.
The MMD features dual adjustment knobs that give you independent control over horizontal (pan) and vertical (tilt) movement. Turn one knob to smoothly pan left or right across a wide landscape. Use the other to tilt up or down making fine, surgical adjustments without disturbing your tripods position. This is critical when glassing from a blind, tracking a moving animal across open terrain, or framing a shot for video where even a slight shift ruins the composition.
Col Mountain Tech designs gear for people who spend real time in the backcountry. The MMD was born from years of glassing in Utahs high country, where a shaky mount means missing the buck that walks into view for exactly 30 seconds. Every component is chosen for reliability when it matters most.
The MMD mounts to any standard tripod via 1/4in-20 threaded socket. It pairs seamlessly with the MTN STICK system, the Optics Platform, and most commercial tripods.
