Falcon Rods

Developed through close consultation with Falcon pro-staffers, Experts are the latest step forward in precision tuned actions combined with the latest rod building technology. Constantly evolving through testing and feedback, the result is the ultimate in performance. To enhance power-to-weight ratio, we use CrossMatch, our all new, state-of-the-art composite of carbon whose multi-layer, cross-directional fibers boost strength while requiring less material and resin. The result is a rod thats significantly lighter, incredibly muscular, and considerably more sensitive. Other benefits include superior resistance to torsional deflection. In other words, the blank resists rollover or twist which can help increase cast accuracy. Like all Falcon rods, Expert Series components are 100% Fuji-from the reel seats to the tangle-free K Frame guides. Whether youre a tournament pro, or just fish like one, step up to the Expert Series.

With the introduction of the LowRider series twenty years ago, Falcon pioneered the use of low-profile single-footed guides to improve casting performance. The BuCoo continues the legacy of LowRider technology. Genuine Fuji guides are placed for the best possible casting performance. Sensitivity is further enhanced by the use of a Fuji exposed blank reel seat. Blank technology takes another step forward. Just ask our number one field tester, the guy who started this enterprise, John Beckwith, if a rod is going to fail, he says, a Peacock bass will make it fail. John's amazing Peacock Bass adventures have prompted us to put the Amazon River basin on our list of special places that remind us of important things... like earning your trust year after year. Bass fishing may be the ultimate test of a fishing rod heavy braided line, thick underwater brush, and perhaps the meanest, strongest fish pound for pound.

When first introduced in 1995, Falcons LowRider series defied convention by using small, single-footed, rod guides. These guides also sat lower, resting much closer to the blank. Compared to other rods of similar length, there were also more guides. These much smaller, more numerous, guides worked to limit line slap and friction up the entire length of the rod, resulting in longer casts. The low-profile rod was born. Today, the term low-profile rod is almost cliche. Once we started the revolution, imitators followed. But, when it comes to quality, capability, and innovation, our totally revamped LowRider Series still leads the way. This latest generation of LowRider features tangle free K Frame Fuji guides. Along with new extra-durable, silky-smooth FazLite guide rings. We tuned the actions with a higher grade of aerospace- rated carbon fiber to achieve an even lighter blank in the fish catching actions that our fishermen have come to expect. Available in a wide array of technique-tuned lengths and actions, our updated LowRider Series ushers in the next step in high performance among low-profile rods.
