Brass Offsets are crucial for protecting small flared cracks, often fitting perfectly where nothing else will go. The brass used for the head of the nut is soft enough to bite into placements, but hard enough to resist deforming and pulling through. Wires are soldered directly into the nut head, allowing a thicker wire to be used and increasing overall strength. The colour coded swage gives easy size selection and allows the Brass Offset to self equalise when loaded, making the most of marginal placements.

Features of DMM Brass Offsets

• Micro protection for small cracks
• Asymmetrical taper gives stable placements in offset cracks
• Wires soldered directly into heads for strength
• Brass heads for optimal characteristics in marginal placements
• Colour coded for easy size identification
• Passive protection works in wet and icy conditions

Specifications for DMM Spectre Colour - 6 Pack:

Features of DMM Spectre Colour Carabiner - 6 Pack:

• All-round carabiner for versatility
• All-round carabiners can be used across trad, sport, or winter climbing. They are full sized for ease of handling, while I-Beam construction and wire gates keep weight low. If you want one type of carabiner to cover all your climbing needs, you need an all-rounder.
• Wire gate for maximum weight saving
• Wire gates are the lightest gate type available, and resist freezing shut in cold conditions. They are crucial in reducing the weight of your rack, and are ideal for trad, winter, and alpine climbing.
• Small gate notch reduces snagging
• Carabiners with wire gates need a gate notch to achieve their full strength rating. The notches on these carabiners are as small as possible while remaining functional, reducing the chance of them snagging on other equipment.
• I-Beam construction for optimum strength to weight ratio
• I-Beam construction techniques allow carabiners to be lighter without compromising strength. This is achieved through hot forging, a process which allows metal to be made into complex shapes that improve functionality.
• Available in multiple colours for efficient gear selection
• Coloured carabiners allow colour coding of gear on your rack, helping you select the right piece of protection first time on a big trad lead.

Package Contents:

• DMM Spectre Colour - 6 Pack

Closing the clip on the Belay Master ensures the carabiner is safe for use. It can only be closed when the gate is screwed shut.

When closed, the clip keeps the carabiner in its strongest orientation, prevents devices and knots from moving onto the spine, eliminates possible cross loading due to rotation. This feature makes the Belay Master the perfect belay carabiner for those new to belaying.

Current version fits the I-beam Belay Master carabiner with a vari-width clip connection.

Old version fits a non-I-beam version of the Belay Master carabiner.
