The Tourniquet Shear Hammock is the quick and easy way to carry Shears and a CAT or SOF-T or RATS Tourniquet off of an existing belt or MOLLE mounted pouch that takes up no more additional mounting space and protects the tourniquet from the environment.

Following the huge success of the Micro Trauma Kit NOW! the biggest question they got was Where do I keep my tourniquet? they always recommended keeping a tourniquet readily available and NOT inside a pouch for immediate access. With the Tourniquet Hammock, you can keep your tourniquet readily accessible right below your Micro Trauma Kit with no extra mounting space needed. As an added benefit, the Tourniquet Hammock keeps the tourniquet better protected against damaging UV rays, weather, and dirt and debris than having a TQ simply rubber banded to your gear.

The Tourniquet Hammock can be mounted to either the MOLLE or belt mounted Micro TKN, or any other MOLLE pouch with a 3 column MOLLE foot print such as the Trauma Kit NOW!, Vertical Utility Pouch, and many others. Simply slide MOLLE straps through the slots on the Hammock towards the final installation point so that it hangs down or put the Hammock on first for it to hang at the top.

The Trauma Kit NOW! is an emergency access EDC trauma kit that can be deployed with one finger, literally saving lives on the battlefield. The TKN is a first aid pouch that was designed to hold the contents of the Army IFAK but can be configured to almost any emergency medical loadout or tactical first aid kit. The TKN! consists of two main components - the outer MOLLE medical pouch with Helium Whisper Attachment System and a removable inner supply carriage. The outer pouch is slightly tapered to make for easy removal, despite how full or empty the inner carriage may be. The pouch mounts on a 3 x 3 MOLLE field and can fit on a belt or other first line defensan> The inner supply carriage has been redesigned and constructed out of laser cut ULTRAcomp - saving weight and bulk over previous generations. The inner carriage consists of six rows of various sized heavy-duty elastic loops to keep medical essentials secure but visible. A center loop field can be used to secure pill packs or other smaller items with sticky hook tape (not included). A large pocket towards the bottom can fit a Quikclot bandage, chest seals, or other flatter supplies. The inner carrier is deployed by pulling the tab with the ball detail up and out of the outer pouch. The design of the pouch combined with ball detail enables the Trauma Kit NOW! to be deployed with gloved hands in the dark, cold, or wet environments, or one finger if need be. The top flap of the carriage uses hook and loop to close on the outer pouch or on itself when removed for passing off to a teammate in need. A single column of MOLLEminus slots on top are fully MOLLE compatible and provides a great location for a Single Pistol Pouch for a flashlight or multi-tool, or the Tourniquet NOW! Strap. A cross indicator is laser cut on the top flap and can be changed to black or left out for maximum concealability. The Patented Helium Whisper attachment system is compatible with all MOLLE platforms and built with a combat tested, high performance laminate - ULTRAcomp - that reduces weight up to 60% while equaling or exceeding the durability of 1000d CORDURA. The Ball Loaded Index Point, or BLIP for short, is an enhancement in the pouch lid that allows for positive grip with cold, wet, gloved hands, or for use in the dark. A small nitrile rubber ball is sewn into the pouch lid which saves weight over traditional lid tabs but provides a mechanical interference between the fingers allowing for consistent pouch opening in adverse conditions.

Specifications for Blue Force Gear Helium Whisper Trauma Kit Pro Supplies:

Small Medical Kit for Trauma Injuries

The Trauma Kit NOW! - SMALL is a medical kit that holds all the necessary full-size lifesaving med supplies in the smallest footprint possible. Designed to hold all the lifesaving components of an issue IFAK kit following the MARCH protocol it has space for massive bleeding, Airway, Respiratory, Circulation and Hypothermia treatment components.

The TKN! - SMALL medical pouch has two parts: the SHINGLE, which can be removed instantly by pulling up on the BLIP equipped handle, and the outer POUCH which attaches with the Helium Whisper Attachment System. This design allows for high-speed access to the inner contents while ensuring the pouch stays secure on your gear when not being used. Unlike other tactical medical kits on the market, you don’t have to choose between speed of access versus security of your medical gear.

Tactical Medical Kit Fill Levels - Options

The Trauma Kit NOW! - SMALL is offered with three medical supply levels and as an empty pouch for those who wish to design their own load out. The TKN!-SMALL can be purchased with ESSENTIALS, PRO, and ADVANCED fill levels. ESSENTIALS (as one would guess from the name), is a basic tactical medical kit for the user with minimal training and is primarily outfitted for bleeding control. The PRO has the components of ESSENTIALS while also offering a pair of chest seals. The ADVANCED option adds a Nasal Airway and a chest Decompression Needle.

Trauma Medical Pouch? IFAK Kit? Other? You decide.

In addition to the offered fill levels, the TKN! -SMALL medical pouches can be purchased empty to accommodate those already issued an IFAK kit allowing the user to utilize their issued medical components in a superior trauma pouch if desired.

High Speed Access to Med Supplies

The Trauma Kit NOW! line was built around the concept of security and high-speed access to med supplies. With no zippers, buttons or side release buckles to fumble with in an emergency or when your hands are wet with blood. The shingle insert handle has a Ball Loaded Index Point (BLIP™) for tactile identification without the need to look at the pouch. The BLIP™ allows for the medical contents to be deployed easily with gloved hands in cold, dark, or wet environments.

MOLLE Med Pouch with a Modern Attachment System

The Trauma Kit NOW! - SMALL attaches like any other MOLLE med pouch but is better because of its Helium Whisper Attachment System that offers up to 40% weight savings over a traditional attachment system. Traditional MOLLE backings have dozens of sewn on parts (which break) and metal buttons that can become secondary frag. The UltraComp construction of the Helium Whisper system eliminates these disadvantages.
