Insert the tail of the band into the depression on the underside of the neck, through the hole in the center of the band, to the lab draw or marking spot and attach the band to the vial using the integral tie. The shrinkband also functions to hold small plastic caps and similar sized items in place. Large air-holes in the band allow the tubing or bottles to be pulled through, even when the tubing is fully submerged. A standard PTFE shrinkband is recommended for use with this item.
