Simply place the lid on the container, place the drop point in the center of the funnel where the sample is to be vented, and let the vacuum draw the air in. The specially designed top provides a tight seal with the evacuation tubing. The venturi-shaped mouth allows the escape of fluids which could be trapped in the tubing. The outside of the venturi-shaped mouth is designed to prevent escape of product which could be hazardous to the lab environment.
