The BA-Ergonomic Arm Pad serves as a comfortable rest for the dominant hand and allows full range of motion of the minor hand. The ratcheting feature allows the arm pad to be tightened to fit the body movement and allows the observer to follow the movement of the gross motor hand more easily. An oversized fastening loop allows for easy attachment to the patient, positioning the arm pad far enough away so the arm does not injure the patient. The arm pad is connected to the lower body side body wall by an adjustable elastic strap. Rubber end caps also provided for additional friction resistance and slip resistance on the shoulder pads.
